UK’s Daily Mail names Kotor among world’s most beautiful ports

The UK’s Daily Mail has compiled a list of the world’s most breathtaking ports, with Montenegro’s Kotor earning a place among the 20 most beautiful waterfronts.

“No, it’s not computer-generated imagery, this is a photograph of a real place – Kotor on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast,” the Daily Mail notes.

“This is the ultimate list of the world’s most breathtaking ports: from America to Australia via Italy and Norway. Some of the ports are framed by soaring skyscrapers, others by rolling snow-covered mountains”, says the article.

Featuring alongside Kotor are Dubrovnik, Naples, Monaco, Rio de Janeiro, Venice, Vancouver and Sydney.
