International Carnival in Budva

The event begins on April 30 with the traditional Abrum along the Budva Riviera — from Petrovac through Pržno and Sveti Stefan to Rafailovići — when masked groups, accompanied by music, will invite residents and visitors to join the carnival.

The program continues on May 1 with the authentic Budva Abrum, parading through the streets of the Old Town. On May 2, a grand carnival parade will follow, along with a rich entertainment program both inside and in front of the Old Town walls. On the same day, a formal cocktail reception is planned for FECC officials, embassy representatives, and members of carnival groups.

On May 3, the stage belongs to the youngest participants — the children’s carnival parade will close the three-day program.

A special highlight of this year’s carnival will also be the May Day tribute band concerts, an evening dedicated to lovers of high-quality music. The audience will enjoy performances by GIFT (David Bowie tribute), RING (ABBA tribute), and Band X (AC/DC tribute), performing world-famous hits and bringing the carnival program to a close in a spirit of great fun, music, and togetherness.
