St. Đorđe Church

This medieval simple structure was built in the 9th century.

The unknown builder had used several Christian fragments. It was rebuilt over time. The inside of the church was rich in frescos and manuscripts that are destroyed to a great extent. Only frescos showing scenes from the life of the saint to whom the church is dedicated are preserved.

The legend says that in the old part of the structure once there was a monastery that was connected with a tunnel that led to the river Morača and it was used to bring water...
