"The quality of Montenegro's offerings is what appeals to Chinese tourists," said tour operators at the Shanghai fair

On the first day of the fair, a presentation was attended by over forty representatives from the Chinese tourism industry and media. On this occasion, the attendees were greeted by a member of the Executive Board of the National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro, Lazar Miranović. According to Mr. Miranović, Montenegro seized its opportunity at the Shanghai fair by presenting itself in the best possible way. He is particularly pleased with the strong interest from the Chinese business community in Montenegro and the entire region. In his opinion, establishing closer ties between our region and China ensures a swift recovery of our tourism market post-pandemic.

On the second day of the fair, NTO representatives and Montenegrin tourism industry officials held meetings with representatives from the Chinese tourism industry. These meetings provided an opportunity to familiarize them with the wide range of travel options Montenegro offers.

Tony Li, General Manager of Deluxe Mice Tour & Luxury Travel, highlighted that our country has potential and that Chinese tourists are very interested in visiting Montenegro, especially in luxury tourist resorts. "Since my clients are mainly representatives of leading banks from China, I believe it's essential to focus on this segment of the offering towards our clientele," said Tony Li.

Corrine Chen, Sales Manager at GZL International Travel Service, visited the Montenegrin booth and stated that the offerings' quality appeals to Chinese tourists. She emphasized a growing interest in Montenegro and its rich cultural and historical heritage.

Victoria Luo, Sales Manager for China at Europcar GSA China, mentioned that she has heard many good things about Montenegro from her colleagues in Europe and hopes to visit soon, given that their offices are located in Podgorica and Tivat.

At the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro's booth, travel agencies Venn Tour, Montenegro Escape Tours, and Fly Montenegro also showcased their offerings.
