Today’s edition of the Russian daily Rossiyskaya Gazeta features a special supplement on Montenegro entitled “The hidden gems of the Montenegrin coast”.
The eight-page supplement introduces Russian readers to the offerings of Montenegro’s coastline, with emphasis on beaches and hotels.
The supplement notes that Montenegro boasts one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe, recommending visiting the beaches of Jaz, Mogren, Velika plaža (Long Beach), Dobreč, Bečići, Sveti Stefan peninsula etc.
“Montenegro’s coastline stretches for 293 kilometres and includes 117 beaches with a total length of 73 kilometres: from secluded coves to family resorts, from impressive sandy beaches to picturesque rocky caves which can only be reached by boat. They all have one thing in common: the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea,” the article says.
The special supplement also gives details about the offerings of Budva, Herceg Novi, Tivat, Bar and Ulcinj, as well as from Lazure Marina & Hotel, Falkensteiner and the Portonovi resort in Kumbor. Readers may also learn about the current flight connections between Russia and Montenegro.
The special supplement had a print run of 150,000, while its electronic version is available on the Rossiyskaya Gazeta website, which draws more than 13 million readers a week on average.
