Because the canyons of Tara, Draga, Sušica, Komarnica, and Nevidio, Europe's last discovered canyon, beckon you to take on a formidable challenge. Canyoning and rafting? An arduous challenge to conquer!

Rafting is unquestionably the greatest way to learn about the Tara Canyon, which stretches for 78 kilometers from the mouth of the Bistrica to Šćepan Polje, and is officially the world's second deepest canyon. Rafting is organized by a variety of rafting organizations, many of which combine it with a stay in an ethno village. This is a true rural Montenegrin experience, complete with cicvara, homemade buttermilk, and porridge!

There are as many as 48 peaks above 2,000 meters above sea level in the park which, from an eagle’s eye view, overlook 18 glacier lakes (known as mountain eyes) and mysterious medieval tombstones known as stećci.
