Le Monde on Montenegro: a new luxury destination

Journalist Julien Thèves describes Montenegro as a new destination that attracts high-paying guests, with luxury hotels, good restaurants, unconventional swimming pools, but also with beautiful beaches and the spectacular Bay of Kotor.

His two-page article is based on Montenegro's luxury offering. According to him, Canadian billionaire Peter Munk, tired of waiting for a location for his yacht and mesmerised by the breathtaking beauty of the Bay of Kotor, decided to build a world-class Porto Montenegro marina in Tivat. The world quickly spread the word about Porto Montenegro, the Regent Hotel and this part of Montenegro, prompting the journalist to refer to the place as the new Saint-Tropez.

Lazure Marina & Hotel in Herceg Novi, as well as Casa del Mare hotel group, which he warmly recommends to tourists from France, haven't left him any less impressed.

He describes Sveti Stefan as an icon of Montenegrin tourism, with spectacular beaches covered with pink royal sand and beautiful suites of the Aman resort.

The author also praised Montenegrin wines, including the large vineyard in Podgorica, small wineries and bars where you can drink quality wine in Montenegro.
