Ukraine’s most-watched TV channel 1+1: Montenegro is a wonderful country with incredible offer

Ukraine’s most-watched TV channel 1+1, whose reporters visited Montenegro as part of a study tour organised by the National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro NTOCG, has released a series of features about our country within its morning show section called “Breakfast with 1+1”.

The features focused on the Montenegrin tradition, culture and the authenticity of the scenery. Viewers were able to enjoy beautiful images from Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat, Plužine, Žabljak, Mojkovac, Cetinje and Lake Skadar National Park.

Natalka Shchuka, the host of the show, points out that Montenegro is one of the ten most interesting tourist destinations in the world.

“The mountains, sea, canyons, national parks and incredible bridges – it’s a wonderful country in the heart of Europe, just a two-hour flight from the Ukrainian capital. Montenegro is an ecological country, whose nature is so fairytale-like. It’s a country of exclusivity, starting from its spectacular landscapes, islands and bays to hotels, food, wine, water and the rakija brandy. Everyone should visit this country rich in history, culture and tradition,” Shchuka said.

The four episodes of the series filmed in Montenegro premiered last week, showcasing the coastal, central and northern regions of the country. Also, the combined series about Montenegro as an attractive destination were aired as part of the 1+1 weekend morning show.

The interest among Ukrainian tour operators and tourists in Montenegro’s winter offer is evidenced by the fact that the Ukrainian charter airline Windrose Airlines will launch flights from Kyiv to Podgorica from 1 December. In this regard, broadcasting travel features will contribute a better perception of Montenegro as an attractive destination among Ukrainian travellers.
