What is the secret to the popular Bjelasica route? Gentle, round peaks, verdant grasslands, vast and deep forests, and hidden glacial lakes make the enchanting Bjelasica route a true discovery. If you are not an experienced mountaineer, you can inquire about easier routes in the visitor centers for national parks.

Walking through deep snow? Put on your snowshoes!

Put on your snowshoes, grab a pair of sticks, and walk across a blanket of white, pristine snow. It is a one-of-a-kind way to explore snowy forest slopes and trails away from the crowds at ski resorts, either alone or in a group.

Tara River Icy Rafting

Rafting is one of the best adventure activities in Montenegro! Why? Because Montenegro is home to the Tara River! Tara Canyon is Europe's deepest (the deepest point is 1,333 meters). The majority of the river runs between high cliffs, and the flow is characterized by whirlpools. Winter rafting is at its best, but also at its most extreme, in March, when the snows from Durmitor and Komovi begin to melt.

Snowboarding has become nearly as popular as skiing in recent years, so all ski resorts have been adapted and equipped for these types of activities. Individual and group ski passes are available at Montenegro's ski resorts. Montenegrin ski resorts provide ideal conditions at night to transform invincible mountains into your playground, a snowboarder's paradise.

Igloo building and teamwork

Making an igloo is another appealing snow game that provides a one-of-a-kind experience. Form a group and get moving! One-day tours can last anywhere from one to eight hours, and multi-day tours can last up to three days. This is a lot of fun for everyone!
