Near the sea, with a touch of Mediterranean air: Hot River Canyon
The Hot River Canyon is located near Bar. The adventure begins in the village of Veliki Mikulići, more specifically near the village mosque, where there is also parking. The canyon's exit is near the walls of Bar's Old Town. This is one of the more technically demanding canyons and is only recommended if you are in good physical condition.
Swimming in canyon lakes: an exceptional experience
You will feel the canyon's strength and grandeur at the very entrance, with the clearly visible basin of the Hot River luring you into a new adventure! The terrain is overgrown with low-growing briars and thorn bushes, making it difficult to find your way.
The canyon is adorned with old stone dams overgrown with moss through which the water flows. Many lakes with unbelievably clear water provide the most beautiful swimming opportunities. The canyon is secured with a large number of anchorages, making obstacles easier to pass through. The "heart of the canyon" is a series of lakes with the typical canyon shape, and it is the most beautiful place to stop for lunch. The call of the sea can be felt here!
