The Šipčanik wine cellar is a former military airport that has been turned into an impressive space for wine storage and aging. Located in the heart of the vineyard, the tunnel-shaped cellar lies at an average depth of more than 30 meters below ground. It is 356 meters long, with an average width of 13.5 and a height of 7 meters, covering as many as 7,000 square meters. For Plantaže, but also for all visitors, Šipčanik is a real wine treasury, where over two million liters of wine being stored in wooden barrels at any time.
