The oldest fine arts event in Montenegro, „Hercegnovski zimski likovni salon" is being held in the gallery „Josip Bepo Benković“.

The Artists' Colony in Danilovgrad has been an assembly of famous sculptors, painters and graphic artists from former Yugoslavia and the world since 1972.

The Gallery doesn't have a permanent exhibition, except the exhibited works of the association's members which are for sale.

Within the gallery, which doesn't have a permanent exhibition, fine arts exhibition are being organized every fortnight. Academic painters from Montenegro are exhibiting here, as well as those from neighbouring countries.

The permanent exhibition of the Risto Stijović Gallery displays sculptures of the best-known montenegrin sculptor.

The Modern Gallery, situated in the same building as the Town Museum of Podgorica, stores the works of the most prominent Montenegrin painters and sculptors from the end of the 19th century until today.
