Two days ago the amount of snow in the ski resorts “Savin kuk“, “Javorovača”, “Kolašin 1450”, and “Vučje“ attracted skiers, boarders, and other visitors who enjoy the snow, and also many children, despite mild rain.
In the first 8 months of 2012, 1.153.256 tourists visited Montenegro, which is 4.6 per cent more compared to the same period last year. The tourists had 7.665.769 overnight stays, 4 per cent more than in the first 8 months of 2011.
Organized by the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, NGO “Montenegro Phototrekking”, “Riders.me” and “Snowhunters” dealing with popularization of sports in nature and ski centre “Kolašin 1450”, this promotion was held in order to promote ski sports and spending time on the snow. This ski resort hosted about 1,500 visitors.
Winter season started early because of enough snow and attractive arrangements in the hotels and private accommodation which is why a positive trend is expected in the future period, director of the National Tourism Organization Saša Radović says.

Juliana Buhring will soon finish the cycling tour round the world. Last Friday she came to Montenegro.
A 31-year-old Juliana Buhring cycled through Montenegro – the first woman to cycle round the world. She is of British – German origin. She was born in Greece and she grew up, as she says, in 30 countries of Asia, Africa and Europe.

Public of Montenegro will have the opportunity to see first run of the movie “Move on” as of Friday 30th November. The movie was filmed last summer in Montenegro and in seven other European countries. The movie can be rented (for free) from the Extra TV video store. The film was directed by a reputable Hollywood director Asger Leth and a famous Hollywood actor Mads Mikkelsen is staring.
