Ski resort Savin kuk in Žabljak was opened last weekend even though it didn’t snow for a while, radio Antena M reports.

Lessee of the ski resort Vukomir Marjanović says that they did not open the ski resort before because there were not enough people.

Juliana Buhring will soon finish the cycling tour round the world. Last Friday she came to Montenegro. 

A 31-year-old Juliana Buhring cycled through Montenegro – the first woman to cycle round the world. She is of British – German origin. She was born in Greece and she grew up, as she says, in 30 countries of Asia, Africa and Europe.

Public of Montenegro will have the opportunity to see first run of the movie “Move on” as of Friday 30th November. The movie was filmed last summer in Montenegro and in seven other European countries. The movie can be rented (for free) from the Extra TV video store. The film was directed by a reputable Hollywood director Asger Leth and a famous Hollywood actor Mads Mikkelsen is staring.

Internet users in Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania simply love Facebook, with almost 90 per cent of them having Facebook accounts, according to a global statistical database maintained by the International Web Stats web page.

The other Balkan peoples are comparatively less interested in this social network, with numbers signed up as members varying between 50 and 70 percent of the internet active population.

A famous discotheque in Budva “Top Hill” was awarded a prestigious “Best Night Club Global 2012” award on the MICS festival held in Monte Carlo – it is stated in the announcement published by Portal “Analitika”. Apart from “Top Hill” two clubs from Miami were also nominated for this award as well as one club from New York, one from Dubai, one from Moscow and one from Mykonos.

Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization signed together with President of the German Travel Association Jurgen Büchy and tourism industry of Germany the official document which binds all parties in tourism industry to protect human rights in this area. The Code was also signed by the leading tour-operators, entrepreneurs and airline companies.

Since 2006, Montenegro has been independent with tourism being its most significant industry. In 2010, 25,381 German guests visited the country on the Adriatic coast. This year - up to and including August, - already 31,159 Germans visited Montenegro.
