Winter rafting on Tara
Who said you can’t go rafting during the winter? Well whoever it was we don’t believe them. We think rafting is a year round sport. Experience the raging icy waters during the winter, the snow covered slopes, and the joy of doing something others said was impossible or crazy. This offer includes transfer with terrain vehicles, all equipment, experienced guides who speak foreign languages, meals and drinks.
Tara is one of the most beautiful and the cleanest rivers in Europe and that is why it is called ‘the tear of Europe’. Canyon of the river Tara is second deepest canyon in the world. It is up to 1,330m deep and is situated in the zone of the National Park “Durmitor”. Apart from its beauty and power, for which it is ideal for rafting, Tara is extremely rich in salmonid fish and thus it is very popular as a fishing destination.
