“Business Destination Travel Awards” were established in 2008 by the British magazine “Business Destination” whose readers are over 100,000 company owners, directors and other key people in the world of travel, tourism and MICE industry. 

Purpose of these awards is to show and highlight those companies whose products and services represent the top of travel business industry. “Business Destination Travel Awards” are awarded not by selected elite panel of judges but by a large and various cross cut of major users and buyers of corporate travels. Among the voters there were managers and buyers from Fortuna 500 companies, offerers of MICE solutions, members of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives – ACTE as well as other influential members of travel business community. 

After significant numerous domestic and regional recognitions, this is the first award of this type awarded to “Maestral” which implies widely recognized quality of services offered as well as successfulness of goals we want to achieve. All of this would not be possible without a great team of people who work for “Maestral” which we are particularly proud of this year. 

“Maestral” believes that this award also means setting new goals aimed at improving quality and types of services which “Maestral” will keep working on as it did in the past. 

“Maestral Resort & Casino” was fully renovated after a successful privatization in 2003 when HIT Ltd from Nova Gorica became a new owner and since then it has been recognized as one of the key holders of development of Montenegrin tourism. By operating regular charter flights to the south of Italy we have connected Montenegro after several decades of isolation with Italy and through the most significant international events we have shown that Montenegro can apart from its beauty be recognized as a safe destination with professionals ready to face the biggest business challenges. 

By listening desires of their guests and by trying to keep pace with world trends in 2010 “Maestral” has expanded their capacities and today they are thinking of new investments and how to improve their services.
