A famous discotheque in Budva “Top Hill” was awarded a prestigious “Best Night Club Global 2012” award on the MICS festival held in Monte Carlo – it is stated in the announcement published by Portal “Analitika”. Apart from “Top Hill” two clubs from Miami were also nominated for this award as well as one club from New York, one from Dubai, one from Moscow and one from Mykonos.
At the celebration held on the 9th November 2012 in the Grimladi Hall, this flattering award was given to the “mastermind” of the “Top Hill” project - Marko Krečković, by Erik Melon, a co-owner of the “Opium Group” which runs seven most famous clubs in America. Erik Melon is president of the world Association of Owners of Night Clubs and is the creator of the largest world club empire.
MISC festival was established three years ago and represents the largest world conference and club festival dealing with clubbing and other accompanying contents related to clubbing.
The awards ceremony is compared by many with the Oscar ceremony and the fact that Prince Albert of Monaco gave the award last year speaks for itself about its importance.
The 2010 award winner was the club “Soho Rooms Moscow” and last year it was “Gotha” from China.
“Top Hill” hosted the most famous names of the world DJ scene such as Steve Angello, Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grand, Sander Van Doorn, Alex Gaudino and it was their initiative to nominate “Top Hill” for the selection of the best night club in the world.
