“Air Berlin” continues flights to Montenegro
First charter flight of “Air Berlin” for this season has brought today about 150 German tourists including a study group of important media from this market.
Cooperation was this air company was established last year and has continued this year thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro and its representative office in Frankfurt as well as the local TO of Budva with support of the following business entities: hotel “Splendid Conference and Spa Resort”, “Queen of Montenegro”, HTP “Primorje”, the hotel group “Budvanska Rivijera”, company “Beppler&Jacobson”, hotela “Rivijera”, agency “Globrour” and “Alfa Tours”.
“Air Berlin” is by its size the second German air company. In accordance with the contract 18 rotations will be operated this year and we will have flights once a month from five cities from the market of Germany and Austria: Nurnberg, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Berlin and Vienna from May 16 - September 12.
The study group of media from the German market will stay in Montenegro in the organization of NTO and tour operator “Thomas Cook” in cooperation with the agency “Alfa Tours” from May 16 – May 21 this year in order to promote our destination at this very important market as well as for the promotion of the hotel “Tara” which will operate this year under the brand “Sentido” of “Thomas Cook”.
Within the presentation of Montenegrin tourism offer they will visit attractive locations in our country, cultural-historical sites, national parks and the like in order to get acquainted with the beauties and resources of Montenegro in the best possible way. Special accent will be placed on the promotion of active holiday in nature for which there is a great interest in the German market.
During the following period “Air Berlin” will conduct in cooperation with Montenegrin tourism industry a marketing campaign of these air lines on their web portal which is one of the most visited portals in the German market.
