“Abenteuer und Reisen” prepares article about Montenegro
In the organization of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro in the period from 15August – 22 August 2012 a journalist of the leading magazine for adventurist tourism from the German speaking area – “Abenteuer und Reisen" (http://www.abenteuer-reisen.de) visited Montenegro.
The article author Frank Heuer is one of the most recognized journalists and photographers in Germany. Within the program of the visit the journalist visited cultural-historical sites of Cetinje and coastal towns, national parks “Durmitor” and “Biogradsku gora”, then hiking paths of the northern region and coastal-mountain transversal routes, marinas Porto Montenegro, Aman’s Sveti Stefan etc.
“Abenteuer und Reisen” is a magazine focused on travels and is issued ten times per year. Circulation of magazine is about 100,000 and it has about 500,000 readers among which there are numerous professionals from tourism industry. Popularity of the magazine comes from authentic stories of exploring nature with “first hand” information about different destinations. Apart from a number of attractive photos their reportages include service information.
Web version of this magazine, www.adventure-reisen.de, where the article is also going to be presented, has over 60,000 visits per month and visitors are from 30 to 49 years of age. More than one third of readers of “Abenteuer und Reisen” have monthly income over 2,500 EUR per month and travel very often.
The article about tourism potential of Montenegro will be published on eight pages which represents an extraordinary opportunity for presentation of the integral tourism offer. Realization of this study trip was supported by the hotels “Bianca Resort&Spa”, “Astoria”, agency “Alfa tours” and “3 E travel”, “Montenegro Airlines” and “Air Berlin”.
In the “Trend Guide” – the edition of this magazine, Montenegro was one of 10 trend destinations in 2009.
This study trip is part of intensive promotional activities the National Tourism Organization at the German market for this year.
