Dajbabe is an Orthodox monastery dedicated to the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God and is located in the vicinity of Podgorica, near the village after which it was named. It was founded in 1897 when the natural form of a cave was used as the sanctuary.
Later on the cave was expanded to achieve the form of a basic church, with accompanying chapels. The only part of the church visible from outside the cave is a wide entrance porch with two church towers.
The interior of the monastery was painted by its patron, monk Simeon Popović, who adapted the paintings to the natural shape of the rocks. He decorated the monastery until his death in 1941.
