In the renaissance building of the Buća family's summer getaway you can discover what kind of jewellery the ladies from Tivat wore on special occassions and in everyday life. The house was built in the middle of the 16th century.

It is in the center of the town. It is a fortified summer villa that is unique on the Montenegrin coast. It was built half a millennium ago. Today it is a restored monument serving contemporary purposes. A museum, the Tivat Gallery, is now housed in the building there, while in the garden there is a small summer stage.

The museum and the gallery in the complex reveal secrets of the traditional lifestyle and economy in the Tivat region and its surroundings. The permanent exhibition consists of items from the ethnographic collection (costumes, jewellery, items connected with fishing and olive cultivation...) which demonstrate the plentifulness of the folclore creativity. The archaeological exhibition is also very interesting.
