The so-called Ričardova glava (Richard’s Head) or simply Ričardova plaža (Richard’s Beach) is situated between the Old Town and hotel Avala Villas & Resort. It is about 100 m long and was named after the actor Richard Widmark who was filming “Long Ships” here in 1963.
This pebble beach is very popular and is one of the most visited.
Pizana is the second beach of the Old Town. It is indented in a small space between the eastern part of the Old Town and city harbor. At the back there is a swimming pool of Budva. It is covered with pebbles and is about 50 m long. Location of the beach itself is attractive enough throughout the season to attract large numbers of visitors.
